Police have issued an appeal for information about these men, wanted on recall to prison.

Officers are appealing for information from the public about the location of these people.

Efforts to locate all three are ongoing, police said, but officers are also asking the public for help

The following people are wanted:

  • Simon Gilmour, 48. He has links to Workington, Whitehaven, Maryport & Cleator Moor.
  • John Wayne Conaway, 49. He has links to Workington and Egremont

Anyone with any information regarding the location of the individuals is asked to contact police.

Following the police’s initial appeal yesterday, a 44-year-old man has been arrested.

A police spokesman said: “We would like the public’s help in locating these individuals wanted on recall to prison.

“Public information has and always will be important in assisting our work to ensure we secure justice for victims.

“We know people in Cumbria will know where these individuals are.

“Please pick up the phone and contact Cumbria police or do so anonymously via Crimestoppers if you have any information.”

Report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it or call 101.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
