Penrith Canoe Club travelled to Scotland at the weekend to take part in the Scottish Open Canoe Polo tournament, with the club represented in every division.
The Penrith Youth team gained valuable experience in Division 3, finishing 12th.
For most of the young players this was their first time competing in an open tournament, and they all rose to the challenge.
In Division 2, Penrith battled hard against strong opposition to finish 8th, while the Penrith Ladies placed 7th in the Women’s Division against tough sides from Manchester to Mullingar.
Penrith players also featured at the highest level, Division 1, turning out for FOA, Pennine and Granite teams.

A club spokesman said: “Remarkably, the tournament final was overseen by Penrith representation on all sides: one player on the water, one refereeing, and another keeping score.
“The weekend was a real club effort, with parents playing a huge role in making sure younger players were ready for their games, helping with kit, and providing strong support from the sidelines.
“It was a proud moment for the club to see Penrith players competing across every division and making their mark at the Scottish Open.”
I was not sure which photo to go with so have attached a few.
