Whitehaven Rugby League have signed loanee Joe Lowe on a permanent deal for the 2026 season.
The 24-year-old, who is equally home in the halves, full back or hooker joined the club on loan from Rochdale Hornets and made three appearances in the latter stages of the season,
He has now made a permanent move to Cumbria for next season after fitting in well during his short time at the club.
Head coach Anthony Murray said: “We’re excited to bring Joe back to the club. He came in on loan last season and made a huge impact straight away with the quality and energy he brought to the team.
“We know exactly what he adds to the group, and I’m looking forward to seeing him kick on again with us.”
Lowe is the eighth member of the 2026 squad to be announced with more to be unveiled in the coming days and weeks ahead.
Next season ushers in the move to the single division structure under Super League.
