
Recent Social Inclusion Wellbeing League finals brought together six teams at Penrith’s Frenchfield.
Those sides had progressed through regional group stages in Carlisle and West Cumbria.
The event marked the conclusion of the SIWL season, with two competitions on offer – the SIWL Cup and the SIWL Trophy.
The day began with the final Carlisle group fixture between FC United of Carlisle and Carlisle City Deaf, before moving into the semi-finals and finals.
- SIWL Trophy semi-final: 3rd Carlisle v 2nd West
- SIWL Cup final: Carlisle City Deaf v Tubb FC
- SIWL Trophy final: Hilltop FC v Clear your Head FC
Results
- SIWL Cup winners: Carlisle City Deaf, who broke the deadlock with a superb long-range strike in the second half.
- SIWL Trophy winners: Hilltop FC, overcoming Clear Your Head FC with two well-taken goals after the break.

“This was a chance for players to come together, be active, and have fun, and it was great to see so many positive moments on and off the pitch.”
