Workington Town have three nominees in the latest end-of-season awards organised by the sport’s trade paper.
League Express have polls for their readers which cover the three tiers of the sport – Super League, Championship and League One.
Two of the Town nominations are up against each other in the section for League One Player of the Year.
Stand-off Jake Carter, who was League One’s top goal-kicker, is joined by Maltese international Zarrin Galea, who shared an earlier award as the RFL’s Player of the Year for League One.
Lewis Else of Rochdale Hornets, who shared the award with Galea, is listed in the five nominees along with the North Wales Crusaders pair of Jordy Gibson and Sam Wilde.
Jonty Gorley is one of five nominations for League One Coach of the Year after leading Town to the runner-up position behind the Crusaders.
Carl Forster, who started his coaching career at Whitehaven and then played for Barrow, is also included and the quintet is completed by Mark Dunning (Midlands Hurricanes), Scott Taylor (Goole Vikings) and Paul Wood (Swinton Lions).
Voting closes at 6pm on Thursday, December 4 and the results will be revealed on Monday, December 8.
