Tonight’s Seascale Light Works event has been cancelled due to the weather.
It was the second night of the event, which was a spectacular success at St Cuthbert’s Church last night, Saturday December 13.
Organisers Everyone Here said: “Following advice from Cumbria police and other relevant authorities, and due to the weather in Seascale causing localised damage, we’re unable to guarantee the safety of our visitors, artists and staff.
“Safety must always come first.
“We are so disappointed to have to make this decision – especially after such a super special night last night – and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this will cause.”
Light Works was held at Workington Hall on December 6. It was due to take place on December 7 but had to be cancelled due to the weather.
