Holker Old Boys had to settle for a point last night after a 2-2 home draw against Daisy Hill.
The South Cumbrians have several games to make up on the rest of the league and were looking to close the gap on the play-offs.
In the end they needed an 82nd minute equaliser from Jamie Hodgson to salvage a point against the Westhoughton side.
Luke Davey had given Holker the lead on 19 minute but it only lasted three minutes before Finn Murphy levelled for the visitors.
Liam Sheppard, who recently received his Player of the Month award, put Daisy Hill in front on the hour.
The draw leaves Holker in 11th place in NW Counties Division One North but only four points off the play-off places in what is a very tight competition this season.
