Penrith’s Ullswater Community College will be holding an open evening for year five pupils later this month.
The drop-in event, on Thursday June 25, runs from 4pm to 6.30pm and there is no need to book.
Headteacher Stephen Gilby will give presentations about the school at 4.45pm and 5.30pm.
The school said: “Ullswater Community College is an exciting and vibrant school.
“Students enjoy a wide range of opportunities in an environment where great teaching results in excellent outcomes.
“We are proud of our school and, naturally, we hope that what we offer is attractive and important to others.

“We are very proud of our students too; we expect a lot from them and we believe that the school has much to offer in return.
UCC is a happy school with an established reputation for examination success and excellent progress for pupils.
“Our rich extra-curricular life and strong personal relationships between pupils, parents and staff make us a popular choice for the local community.

“With a new multi-million-pound campus on the horizon, UCC is the premier choice for families seeking a forward-thinking, well-rounded and high achieving education.
“We look forward to welcoming parents and year five students to our open evening.”
