Archie Davies, recetly released by Carlisle United, has joined their National League rivals Yeovil Town for the 2026/27 season.
The 27-year-old made 27 appearances for the Cumbrians last season under Mark Hughes, and has now agreed a two-year deal with the Glovers who have been active in the market already.
Davies joins Stephen Walker, Johl Powell, Mason Obeng and Zain Westbrooke who have joined Yeovil recently.
The St Leonard’s-on-Sea-born defender, came through the youth systems at Crystal Palace and Brighton from the age of 16.
He never actually made his Brighton senior debut in the league although he did make an appearance in the EFL Cup against Aston Villa in 2019.
He spent time on loan at Whiteoak and when released by Brighton signed for Crawley Town in 2020.
After 67 games he joined Aldershot Town before a 57-game spell in the league of Ireland for Dundalk.
Since then he spent two years at Carlisle, making a total of 45 League appearances for the Blues.
