
A family fan zone for the FIFA World Cup will open for England’s matches in the competition.
The fan zone, at The Mixing Shed at The Pencil Factory in Keswick, features a massive video wall, lights, sound system, and some hazejets for those moments when the goals simply have to be accompanied by a bit of crazy.
The first match is will show is England versus Croatia on June 17.
Organisers said they were geared up to make every match a brilliant occasion.
At every match there are chances to win tickets to the showing of the final at the fanzone!
World Cup Family Fan Zone Tickets
All the England group matches are available now, plus tickets for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
Organisers said: “As the results come in, and we get feedback at the matches from you, we can add more.
“In fact, on our website you can vote for the matches you’d like us to show, and if get enough votes, we’ll put it on!”
The tickets are all digital. Once bought, people are urged to bring the QR code with them to gain access.
Tickets available are: Individual tickets, and for a family of two adults and two children (under 14).
Children over 12 can attend on their own, but under-12s need to be accompanied by and adult.
Tickets are £10 per adult, £8 for children and family of four £30.
What matches will be screened at the family fan zone?
The matches scheduled so far are:
- England v Croatia June 17, kick-off 9pm
- England v Ghana June 23, kick-off 9pm
- Panama v England, June 27 kick-off 10pm
The fan zone will also screen the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
What to expect
It’s alcohol free, and there will be a refreshments bar for everything else.
There be plenty of tables and chairs, along with standing areas, super accessible areas up front, and plenty of space to jump up and down!
There is space for up to 450 people, so bring all your friends and family!
There’s lots of parking available as well plenty of venues in town for meals beforehand.
Organisers added: “The venue is fully accessible, and our staff will be there to make sure you’re safe and have a great time.”
