Cleator Moor Celtic will be bidding for their first North West Counties League win of the season tomorrow at home to St Helens Town.
Celtic got a point at Bacup in the opening fixture but crashed 5-1 at Blackpool last Saturday. St. Helens also have a point but from three games.
Manager Martin Mahone said: “It was a bit rough on us at Bacup because we were on the wrong end of a few bad decisions.
“We had Brad Tatton sent off and three players in the sin bin, which was introduced by the North West Counties League last season.
“At one point we were actually playing with seven men and were 2-0 down so to come home with a point was a good achievement.
“Against Blackpool we had no complaints against a very good team who were extremely clinical in their finishing.”
For the visit of St Helens, the Celtic welcome the return of Jack Hunter and Jake Smith but Tatton is suspended, while Jack Conway also picked up a ban after being sent off late in the defeat at Blackpool.
“It’s been a tough start with two away games but we hope to get the show on the road tomorrow,” said Mahone.
