Remeao Hutton leaves Barrow

Barrow have confirmed that highly-regarded right back Remeao Hutton has left the club.

The 23 year old has agreed a deal with fellow League Two side Swindon Town and Barrow will collect an undisclosed fee.

Hutton had made it clear to the Barrow management team that he wished to relocate back down south due to family and personal reasons.

Walsall-born Hutton had previously spent loan spells at Yeovil (27 games) and Stevenage (26) from Birmingham City where he spent four years without actually playing a senior game.

Barrow signed for Barrow after being released by Birmingham at the start of last season and went on to play 44 games for the Furness side

Although Barrow strongly indicated a desire for Hutton to stay at Holker Street where he had a year left on his contract, it was determined that the best outcome was to reach an agreement for him to make a fresh start.

A Barrow statement said: “We would like to place on record our appreciation to Remeao for his efforts in a Barrow shirt, and wish him all the very best for the future.”
