It’s not the normal kind of traffic jam for a West Cumbrian town more used to seeing Sellafield workers making an early break for it on a Friday afternoon.
But Karen Rollason caught a different kind of commuter on Egremont’s Main Street..
The sheep had managed to get free at around noon and were happily wandering down Main Street – maybe it was sheer indulgence, they’d nipped into Star Barber for a quick clip or the smell of mint sauce from Frasers got them on the move.
There was no shepherd in sight, but we hope they got home okay……..
