Funeral arrangements have been announced for the former Cumberland and Millom cricketer David Lupton, who died last week.
The service will be held on Tuesday, August 29 at Holy Trinity Church, Millom at 11.15am to be followed by a private cremation.
Family flowers only but donations can be made towards Kidney Care UK, which may be sent to Sheldon (Funeral Services Ltd), Lapstone Road, Millom.
A wake for Luppy will be held at Millom Cricket Club.
David was a hugely popular cricketer in his playing days with Millom and Cumberland, and during this week’s NCCA Championship game at Peterborough a minute’s silence was observed by both teams ahead of the second day’s play.
