Two Workington Comets riders will face each other tonight in a MAXICab KO Cup quarter final.

On Monday it was Tate Zischke (Belle Vue) and Jye Etheridge (Sheffield) who were on opposing sides in a Premiership meeting.

Tonight Zischke takes a guest booking for Glasgow Tigers while Australian compatriot Jacob Hook steps in to help out his former club Edinburgh Monarchs.

Glasgow face an eight-point deficit heading into the second leg at Ashfield.

The Monarchs won 49-41 at Armadale back in late May but the sides have had to wait for the decisive fixture after a postponement due to the weather.

Glasgow bring in Zischke to guest at No.5 with former Comet Kyle Howarth absent for family reasons.

Meanwhile Edinburgh No.1 Victor Palovaara is out due to illness, and he is replaced by Jason Edwards, whilst Jonatan Grahn misses out due to a Swedish fixture, and former Monarchs rider Hook steps in.

  • GLASGOW: Chris Harris, Villads Nagel, Dan Thompson, Leon Flint, Tate Zischke, Freddy Hodder, Max Perry.
  • EDINBURGH: Jason Edwards, Paco Castagna, Justin Sedgmen, Michael Palm Toft, Kye Thomson, Jacob Hook, Jordy Loftus.
