A Lake District hotel has been named among the best in the UK.
Hazel Bank Hotel in Rosthwaite, near Keswick, was one of eight venues chosen for an Editor’s Choice Award 2026 for Britain’s best country house hotels in the prestigious Good Hotel Guide.
Run by Gary and Donna McRae, the adults only hotel set in woodland gardens, the Good Hotel Guide said readers were devoted to it.
Gary and Donna said: “We are truly humbled and delighted to be recognised by the guide again, and is testament to all the hard work our team puts in.”
