Barrow public toilets will be closed for six weeks for refurbishment.
Westmorland & Furness Council said the Fell Street toilets will close from today, Monday March 23.
The male, female and disabled toilets will be closed for the revamp, which will include new windows, doors, cubicles, electrics and redecoration.
The project is funded as part of Westmorland and Furness Council’s capital programme.
During the closure, alternative public toilets are available at Barrow Town Hall (an eight-minute walk from Fell Street) or Barrow Library (a 10-minute walk).
