
A cyclist has been robbed in a Carlisle park.
Police are appealing for information about the incident, which happened in Rickerby Park on Friday, May 8, at around 2.15pm.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was riding a white Canyon road bike.
He was approached by two men near to the suspension bridge.
The men, described as both being black and approximately 5ft 6in, threatened the victim and stole the bike before leaving the area.
One of the suspects was reportedly on a bicycle.
The victim was not injured.
Police said they were keen to hear from anyone who witnessed two men, matching the reported description, on bikes in the area on Friday afternoon.
Officers said they had also conducted extensive CCTV enquiries in the area and appeal for anyone who may hold footage that could help their enquiries to get in touch.
